Now that the flowers are blooming outside, it's a perfect time for your creativity to bloom as well! And what better way is there than with the brand-new Tim Holtz Spring Seasonal Series Distress Inks?!
Ooooooh.
Let's take a closer look at these beautiful, spring-inspired hues.
Peacock Feathers is a lovely, true teal shade, which Distress fans have wanted for quite some time! Squeezed Lemonade is a light, bright, lemon chiffon color completely unlike the existing yellows in the Distress palette. Shaded Lilac is a beautiful purple color, ideal for all of your spring projects.
These amazing colors are a perfect complement to the existing Distress palette, but be sure to scoop up this three-pack of inks while you can, because they are available for a limited time only!
But wait, there's more!
We've been listening to our fans, and we've heard you loud and clear. Presenting…
Hooray!!! Yes, we have created re-inkers for the Spring Distress colors. Unlike the ink pads, which are sold in a pack of three, these re-inkers will be available individually.
And if that isn't awesome enough, we're also bringing out re-inkers for the Fall and Winter Seasonal Distress colors!!
Fall Seasonal Distress Re-inkers: Gathered Twigs, Seedless Preserves, Ripe Persimmon.
Without further ado, here's Tim himself with a video introduction to the lovely new Spring Distress colors:
Be sure to check out the official press release at RangerInk.com to learn more about the Spring Distress ink pads and re-inkers for the Spring, Fall and Winter Distress palettes. These are shipping now, so be sure to check your local crafting supply shop and pick these up. Remember, they're available for a limited time only!
We at Ranger have been working 'round the clock and shipping out our fantastic Tim Holtz Distress Markers as quickly as they can be made! Here are some behind-the-scenes shots of our fabulous staff preparing the 37-color canisters for shipment to your local craft shop!
Our friends at Paper Crafter's Library have a special treat in store for all fans of Ranger, Tim Holtz and Distress Stains: this week is "Ranger Week" on their blog, and all week they will be showcasing Distress Stain tips, techniques, projects and videos!
Be sure to stop by and show Paper Crafter's Library some love during Ranger Week, and you might have a chance to win one of five sets of Distress Stains! They're announcing the winners on Friday, so what are you waiting for? Go, go, go!! =)
Earlier this week, we asked you for some suggestions as to what Ranger's Sales Director and Stickles Enthusiast Alain Avrillon should "Stickle" next as part of his Extreme Stickling video series. You guys have some wild ideas! The responses were very fun to read.
Congratulations to Meme, who posted:
I think a Stickle table and chair could be all the rage! I can see it now, every Art store trying to keep them in stock. How fun to work on art at the new artist Stickle desk and chair!
Fabulous idea, Meme! We'll keep it in mind for Alain's future Stickling exploits. We'll be in contact shortly for your shipping details, and then a Ranger prize pack will be on its way to you!
Thanks to everyone who responded! Who knows, maybe one of your ideas will show up on Extreme Stickling sometime soon?
In this episode, Ranger Sales Director and Stickles Enthusiast Alain Avrillon decides to give a garden gnome a bit of bling in honor of springtime!
Here's the gnome "before"…
What will he look like "after?" You're going to have to watch and see!
So what do you think? Will you be blinging up gnomes for your own gardens? What would you like to see Alain cover in Stickles for a future episode of Extreme Stickling? Let us know in the comments! We will randomly choose a comment and the author will win a great Ranger prize pack!
This week, we are presenting the results from Ranger's Easter themed Designer's Challenge: we gave craft eggs to some of our favorite designers and crafty employees, and asked them to decorate the eggs for Easter using Ranger products.
Tim's steampunk egg began as a paper mache egg, which was covered in pieces of Metal Foil Tape. Texture and holes were added, and then the metal was inked with Alcohol Inks using Cut n' Dry Foam. Finally Tim burnished off the inks to create an industrial look, and the idea-ology gears were added as a finishing touch.
Ranger's Sales Director and Extreme "Stickler" Alain Avrillon dipped a styrofoam egg in Waterfall Stickles, and then used Multi-Medium to glue on a bunny made from UTEE and Heat It Inks. (There is a video on the Ranger website that shows how this adorable bunny was made.)
And for those of you who can't get enough of Alain's Extreme Stickling antics, we will be presenting a brand-new installment of the series on Monday, so watch this space!
We at Ranger hope you all have a hoppy Easter and Passover weekend! Enjoy!
This week, we are presenting the results from Ranger's Easter themed Designer's Challenge: we gave craft eggs to some of our favorite designers and crafty employees, and asked them to decorate the eggs for Easter using Ranger products.
Debbie made this stunning Russian-style egg by applying Claudine Hellmuth Studio Black Gesso to a carvable egg, and she hand painted her flowers with Studio Paints, accenting with Perfect Pearls and Stickles.
Bonnie started out with craft foam and cut out egg shapes. She ran them through the Vagabond machine in Embossing Folders and gessoed them, before painting with Studio Paints and Liquid Pearls. She then formed the eggs into a wreath by gluing them in a circle with Multi-Medium.
Patti gessoed a Styrofoam egg and then painted it with an Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber. The cheerful idea-ology Foliage accents were colorized with Vintaj Patinas.
Only one more day of Designer Eggs to go! But don't crack under the pressure, there's plenty of time to be inspired before Easter!
