Earlier this week, we asked you for some suggestions as to what Ranger's Sales Director and Stickles Enthusiast Alain Avrillon should "Stickle" next as part of his Extreme Stickling video series. You guys have some wild ideas! The responses were very fun to read.
Congratulations to Meme, who posted:
I think a Stickle table and chair could be all the rage! I can see it now, every Art store trying to keep them in stock. How fun to work on art at the new artist Stickle desk and chair!
Fabulous idea, Meme! We'll keep it in mind for Alain's future Stickling exploits. We'll be in contact shortly for your shipping details, and then a Ranger prize pack will be on its way to you!
Thanks to everyone who responded! Who knows, maybe one of your ideas will show up on Extreme Stickling sometime soon?
In this episode, Ranger Sales Director and Stickles Enthusiast Alain Avrillon decides to give a garden gnome a bit of bling in honor of springtime!
Here's the gnome "before"…
What will he look like "after?" You're going to have to watch and see!
So what do you think? Will you be blinging up gnomes for your own gardens? What would you like to see Alain cover in Stickles for a future episode of Extreme Stickling? Let us know in the comments! We will randomly choose a comment and the author will win a great Ranger prize pack!
For our upcoming Designer's Challenge at CHA Winter 2012, we are giving ordinary paper mache dress forms to various designers to decorate in any way they please, using Ranger products. In our first episode of Extreme Stickling, Ranger Sales Director and Stickles Enthusiast Alain Avrillon decides to enter the Designer's Challenge by dipping the dress form into Waterfall Stickles!
You're not going to believe the amazing results.
And if that's not unbelievable enough, get a load of the Extreme Stickling intro:
EXTREEEEEME!!! Yes, those are Stickles. Yes, that is Alain they are being poured onto. NO, do NOT try this at home!! (Not that you would… but still!)
And, as a special bonus, we gave a pumpkin to Ranger sales director Alain Avrillon. Alain isn't your everyday crafter, so let's see what he came up with:
Now, Alain is a BIG fan of dipping things into the giant vats of Stickles that can be found throughout the Ranger factory:
In fact, some of you may remember that he was published in the July/August 2006 issue of Somerset Studio for his Stickled letter "D":
So, we've decided that trying to hold Alain back is a lesson in futility. Thus, we are excited to announce a new feature on the Ranger blog:
Yes. Extreme Stickling. Every week or so, Alain will be dipping random objects into the vats of Stickles, and we will be filming the process and photographing the results for your viewing pleasure. Stay tuned, you won't want to miss this!!
