Have you been keeping up with Tim Holtz’s 12 Tags of 2012 feature? We sure have and many of us here at Ranger were inspired to create our own projects that featured Tim’s September technique, which creates a “cool industrial faux riveted metal look.”
So without further ado, here are Ranger’s Inspired by Tim’s 12 Tags:
Greetings from CHA Summer 2012! We thought you’d like to check out an incredible display we’ve set up in the Ranger booth, showing off seasonal hues of your favorite Ranger products in color combinations that are perfect for winter, Christmas and autumn projects!
It just goes to show, no matter the season, there’s a Ranger product that is perfect for it!
What seasonal products and colors do you spy in these photos? What are your own favorite Ranger color combos to use for seasonal projects? Let us know in the comments!
All last week, we’ve been announcing all of the great new Ranger products that are debuting as we speak at the CHA Summer 2012 show! We’ve decided to pick one comment at random from each post, and the winners will be receiving great Ranger prize packs!
Congrats to:
7/10 – Heidi: “Yeah!! I love how Ranger thinks 5 steps ahead of us!! Great ideas for products we use often by making them easier to use! I love the clear Emboss It dabber!! Genius!!”
7/11 – Barbara: “Wow! Thanks Ranger for such great new products. I am loving the texture treads, especially the mirror design for embssing & debossing. The snowflake is my favourite & I am looking forward to learning lots of new techniques with the pipettes.”
7/12 – Erin Glee: “I love the Vintaj patinas, and metallic variations will be even better….and love Claudines cute little Studio paints~I cold eat them like candy they look so yummy!”
Congrats, everyone! We will contact you regarding your shipping details shortly. And thanks to the winners, and to everyone who has left comments for us, for showing us some love on the Ranger blog!
Don’t know about your neck of the woods, but it has been smokin’ hot here in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. So, we took a little trip to the beach in Long Branch looking for some seaside breezes…hoping to cool off a bit, relax, do a little crafting maybe.
Alas, Mother Nature was on fire here, too. So thank you anyway, McCloone’s Pier House, for letting us park ourselves here for a tad. But you know what they say, “There’s no place like home…(especially when it’s cool inside).” Have a happy Fourth of July, Everyone!

Ranger‘s newest Signature Designer, Dyan Reaveley, recently spent a few weeks here during Ranger U. When she saw her Dylusions Ink Sprays being manufactured and packed for shipping in our warehouse, she decided she wanted a piece of the action! Hilarity ensued.
Earlier this week, we asked you for some suggestions as to what Ranger's Sales Director and Stickles Enthusiast Alain Avrillon should "Stickle" next as part of his Extreme Stickling video series. You guys have some wild ideas! The responses were very fun to read.
Congratulations to Meme, who posted:
I think a Stickle table and chair could be all the rage! I can see it now, every Art store trying to keep them in stock. How fun to work on art at the new artist Stickle desk and chair!
Fabulous idea, Meme! We'll keep it in mind for Alain's future Stickling exploits. We'll be in contact shortly for your shipping details, and then a Ranger prize pack will be on its way to you!
Thanks to everyone who responded! Who knows, maybe one of your ideas will show up on Extreme Stickling sometime soon?
In this episode, Ranger Sales Director and Stickles Enthusiast Alain Avrillon decides to give a garden gnome a bit of bling in honor of springtime!
Here's the gnome "before"…
What will he look like "after?" You're going to have to watch and see!
So what do you think? Will you be blinging up gnomes for your own gardens? What would you like to see Alain cover in Stickles for a future episode of Extreme Stickling? Let us know in the comments! We will randomly choose a comment and the author will win a great Ranger prize pack!
For our upcoming Designer's Challenge at CHA Winter 2012, we are giving ordinary paper mache dress forms to various designers to decorate in any way they please, using Ranger products. In our first episode of Extreme Stickling, Ranger Sales Director and Stickles Enthusiast Alain Avrillon decides to enter the Designer's Challenge by dipping the dress form into Waterfall Stickles!
You're not going to believe the amazing results.
And if that's not unbelievable enough, get a load of the Extreme Stickling intro:
EXTREEEEEME!!! Yes, those are Stickles. Yes, that is Alain they are being poured onto. NO, do NOT try this at home!! (Not that you would… but still!)
From the Ranger family to yours, we would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas full of laughter, warmth, love… and crafting!
(All of the ornaments on our office Christmas tree were created for Ranger’s 12 Days of Ornaments series! Be sure to check out all the holiday inspiration if you haven’t already!)
