Hey everyone, it’s Friday and we’ve been busy, busy, busy working on some upcoming projects. You definitely want to swing by our blog during the second half of May. Hint, hint. 🙂 In our travels we’ve come across many great projects around the web and we’d like to share a few with you today.
This Sunday is Mother’s Day. If you plan on surprising Mom with a handcrafted card we have two for you. First up, Claudine Hellmuth created this cute, charming card that is super easy.
If you’re looking for a reason to break out the dies and Distress Inks, check out this “For My Mother With Love” card by Tammy Tutterow over on the Sizzix blog! This dimensional card is easy and can be customized with the perfect sentiment.
Next up, recent Ranger U graduate, Marjie Kemper, shows off some of the new Distress Stains and Distress Paints techniques she picked up. You can check out step-out photos and descriptions over on her blog to find out how she created the layers that make up this amazing Courage Canvas!
Wendy Vecchi has been taking embossing to the next level in her studio lately. Think you have to emboss the entire stamped image? Think again. In this two part series, Wendy shows you how to master Selective Embossing. Get started with Part 1 here, then check out Selective Embossing Part 2… with color!
Finally, we stumbled across this vibrant card that features splashes of color from Dylusions Ink Sprays. Sara Naumann used transparent printable film to layer her Dylusions Ink Sprays over stamped cardstock to create this head turning look!
