Vintaj partners with Ranger Industries on new Patinas!

Ranger is delighted to announce an inspiring collaboration with Vintaj to create new metal Patinas! The Vintaj Natural Brass Company is a dream fulfilled of three women—sisters Wendy Mullane and Jeanne Holland and their close friend, Jess Italia Lincoln. Vintaj is known for bringing unique natural brass, arte metal and artisan copper pieces to the jewelry-making and crafting community, as well as designing creating wonderful jewelry pieces using creative techniques.

Vintaj Patinas are opaque inks specially formulated by Ranger to adhere to metal. They create beautiful and durable patina effects. The Patinas will colorize Vintaj natural brass findings and filigrees for gorgeous jewelry and embellishments.

Available in a palette of 15 hues, the Patinas can be blended and layered to create endless patina effects.  Sold in sets of three, the color combinations were developed to mimic natural patinas that would occur over time.

Also new is Vintaj Glaze, a metal sealer and Patina extender.  Glaze can be used as a sealer for natural metals to prevent oxidation, mixed with Vintaj Patinas for an extender, and to create glaze-like effects over paints and inks.  It is fast-drying, durable and permanent with a satin finish.
