Use the Non-Stick Craft Sheet to cover and protect your work surface.
Using Ink Blending tool with felt attachment, Blend Adirondack Stream and Pool colors onto Ink Essentials Gloss Paper cardstock.
Sticky-Back Canvas flowers:
(1) Flip Sticky-Back canvas over and peel off backing paper. Smooth Black and White Polka dotted fabric to the adhesive side of Sticky-Back canvas. Cut off excess.
(2) Die cut flowers with Sizzix Big Shot. Note: you can fit 4 die cuts to a sheet of 8½" x11" Sticky-Back Canvas.
(3) Paint flower petals in desired color(s) of Claudine Hellmuth Studio Paint on the canvas side of the flower petals. Let dry.
(4) Create stitch marks on flowers with Adirondack Pitch Black Pigment Pen.
(5) Assemble large flower petal layers in desired design. Glue Layers of flower together using Multi Medium.
(6) Glue fabric covered button to the front of the flower using Multi Medium.
Create Sticky-Back Canvas Resist Background with Studio Multi Medium (Faux Batik):
(7) Place Multi Medium on the Non-Stick Craft Sheet and stamp into it with a rubber stamp or foam stamp. Stamp out image multiple times on the Sticky-Back Canvas. Let dry or speed drying with the craft tool
(8) Repeat with another piece of Sticky-Back Canvas, using a pen/pencil tip to “stamp” circles with Multi Medium. Let dry.
(9) Color the first piece of Sticky-Back Canvas with Landscape Green paint. The Multi Medium will resist the paint. Color the second piece of Sticky-Back Canvas with Modern Red. For a brighter resist, before paint dries, rub with a paper towel.
(10) Cut to 5" x 7" lengths to use in card design.
Finishing the card:
(11) Remove backing paper on Sticky-Back Canvas 5" x 7" strips, and apply to the front of the card. Stamp “Grow” with Adirondack Pitch Black Pigment Ink.
(12) Make stitch marks with Adirondack Pigment Pen as desired. Determine flowers layout and create stems with the Pigment Pen for all 3 flowers. Note: The stem for the large flower was drawn onto a trimmed piece of Sticky-Back Canvas painted with Landscape Green placed onto the card.
(13) For small flowers, remove Sticky-Back Canvas paper backing and stick down onto tops of drawn stems.
(14) For large flower, paint some Multi Medium on the center of the back of the flower and stick down onto top of drawn stem. Let dry.
