Instructions

(1) Cut two 4¼" by 5½" pieces from the Sticky-Back Canvas.

(2) Place the two pieces of Sticky-Back Canvas on top of each other with the paper backing facing you. Draw a heart shape onto the top piece of Sticky-Back Canvas on the paper backing.

(3) Hold the two pieces of Sticky-Back Canvas together and cut out the heart shape with scissors.

(4) Continue to hold the two pieces together and cut 3/8" slits into the heart shapes along the perimeter of the heart shape about ½" apart.

(5) On the canvas side of one of the cut pieces of Sticky-Back Canvas, use a pencil to draw a random patchwork design.

(6) Working on the Non-Stick Craft Sheet, fill in the patchwork design randomly with old book pages and glue to the Sticky-Back Canvas using Multi-Medium.

(7) Paint the remaining patchwork spaces with Painterly Pink and Modern Red Paint. Let dry or speed dry with Heat it Craft Tool.

(8) Paint the second heart a solid color. This will be the back of your piece. Let dry or speed dry with Heat it Craft Tool.

(9) Remove the paper backing from the designed canvas. Fold over the cut slits and repeat this step for the second piece.

(10) Add some batting into the center of one of the hearts.

(11) Place the wrong sides of the hearts together (the designed/painted sides are on the outside) and glue the edges of the heart together using Glossy Accents, leaving a 1" opening. Let dry.

(12) Once the two pieces are secure, stuff with more batting and glue the opened 1" closed with more Glossy Accents. Set aside to dry.

(13) Outline the patchwork design with Glossy Accents and while still wet, layer with a strand of emboidery floss until the entire patchwork design is outlined. Let dry.

(14) Thread a quilting needle with embroidery floss and stitch some random designs onto the front.

(15) Add some dots of Sequins Glitz Stickles in some of the patchwork pieces. Let dry.

(16) Paint the floral wire with Modern Red paint. Let dry.

(17) Punch a hole in each of the top corners of the heart.

(18) Thread floral wire through the holes to make a hanger. Twist and curl the ends of the wire.

(19) Cut a small flower out of Sticky-Back Canvas. Add a brad to the center and glue onto the top right-hand corner of the heart. Let dry.
