Flowers & Flourishes
(1) Pounce one of the chipboard flowers onto the Perfect Medium Ink
Pad making sure to cover the entire piece with ink.
(2) Sprinkle
desired
color
of
UTEE
Brightz
embossing
granules
over
the
inked
piece
of
chipboard.
(3) Heat
to
melt
UTEE.
(4) Repeat
steps 2 & 3 until
you have 2-4 coats of
UTEE for a nice thick
layer.
(5) Optional
- After your last coat
of UTEE has been applied,
IMMEDIATELY while the
UTEE is still molten,
press one of your texture
stamps* onto the heated
UTEE and let cool. (*Note
- this will not hurt
rubber or acrylic stamps. Do
not attempt with Foam
Stamps as they may melt.)
(6) After
UTEE has cooled gently
remove the rubber stamp
(7) Repeat
steps 1-6 for additional
flowers, flourishes as
desired.
Pigment
Ink Background Cardstock
(8) Apply* Sail
Boat Blue Adirondack Pigment
Ink to the glossy cardstock
by pouncing directly from
the ink pad. (*Note
- you do not have to apply
the ink to the entire
piece of cardstock - a
rough coverage will be
fine.)
(9) Immediately
spritz the wet ink with
the Mini Mister filled
with water.
(10) Let
set approx 30 seconds
and heat to dry using
the Craft Tool.
(11) Once
a majority of the ink/water
has dried blot the remaining
water off of the cardstock
with a soft cloth.
(12) Cut
pigment ink background
cardstock & layer
onto card panel.
(13) Stamp “Stitches” using
Pitch Black Pigment Ink*
(*Note - this ink works
extremely well on textured
cardstock!)
(14) Stamp
sentiment in lower right
hand corner of card.
(15) Layer
and adhere UTEE/chipboard
pieces using Glossy Accents
and let dry.
