Instructions

(1) Melt embossing powders, UTEE and flex in the melting pot, add a small amount of the gold last. Swirl for effect with a Kool Toolz and pour into the leaf mold. Repeat this 6 more times to create 7 leaves.

(2) Pour a square shape onto the non-stick craft sheet. Ink the fern rubberstamp with Peeled Paint Distress ink. Reheat the melted material with Heat It Craft Tool and stamp the fern image into the melted substance.

(3) Create a pocket card with a 5” x 4” piece of sage cardstock stamped with the silhouette image in Peeled Paint Distress Ink and 4” x 3” piece of patterned paper stamped with the same silhouette in Fired Brick Distress Ink.

(4) Use a sewing machine to sew the patterned paper to the sage cardstock to create a pocket. Use white thread in straight stitch.

(5) Stamp a 3” x 5” piece of beige with a partial image of the silhouette and round the top two corners. Print journaling and add the flower embellishment with a mini brad and then slip it into the pocket.

(6) Accent the front of the pocket with fibers and a leaf.

(7) Punch decorative corners on the background paper; trim the patterned paper to fit inside the corner punches. (approximately ½” off two sides).

(8) Print an 8½" x 11” photo and cut into a circle. Mat the photo onto sage cardstock; place the photo flush with the right margin of the background cardstock.

(9) Embellish around the photo alternating fabric flowers and Melt Art embossing powder leaves.

(10) Attach the flowers with copper mini brads, use strong glue to attach the leaves. Intertwine the flowers and leaves with variegated sage eyelash fibers.

(11) Adhere the pocket journaling to the background paper; place a corner punch behind the lower left corner to help it pop off the page. Accent the lower right corner of the pocket with the Melt Art fern fossil.

(12) Stamp the title with foam alpha letters and Peeled Paint Distress Ink.

(13) Accent the edges of the background with a few stamped fern images in Peeled Paint Distress Ink.
