Reverse Butterfly Canvas by Tracy ScottSo I know it’s nearly Christmas and here in London it’s cold and dismal at the moment. I loooove Christmas, it’s my favourite time of year but I long for this long summer days spent in the garden, gorgeous flowers, the warm sun, bbq’s and the beautiful butterflies fluttering in the garden. These thoughts have inspired my project for you today….all the lovely colours make me happy…I hope they make you happy too??

Reverse Butterfly Canvas by Tracy ScottStep 1: Starting with an 8×10 inch canvas, I turned it over and covered all of the reverse side including the centre with a mix of music paper and Tim Holtz tissue paper using Multi Medium.

The final step was to add Liquid Pearls and Diamond Stickles onto my butterflies and randomly around the canvas.
