At CHA this year Dyan Reaveley was busy, busy, busy showing off her new stamps, stencils, and sprays. One early morning, Dyan was giving a demo of her new Ink Sprays, so we squeezed in and grabbed this quick clip to share with you. Dyan did her famous ghosting technique, then showed how her new color, White Linen, could be used to add a new twist to the ghosting look! Take a look:
Since we announced the release of Distress Paints, we’ve heard many people ask, “When it comes to Distress, what’s the difference between Inks, Stains, and Paints?” That is a great question and there are several differences. We came across this amazing blog post by Simon Says Stamp today that really dives into the effect you can except from each product when using the same color on the same surface. A very cool read indeed!

The weekend is almost here, so it’s time for some fun! We haven’t done this in a few weeks, so we thought it would be a great time to do another Guess this Ranger Product! Here is your clue:
Not sure what it is? Swing by our Facebook Page on Saturday morning for a photo that is zoomed out a bit for a hint!
Attention store owners, teachers, and designers who want to learn more about how to teach and sell Ranger products: We are now accepting application for our 2013 Ranger University Session.
Ranger University will run from April 26th through the 28th this year. You can find more information about this program and download an application on our website here. Just a reminder, applications are due Monday, March 11th.
Before the show we announced the addition of stencils to the Claudine Hellmuth Studio line. At the Winter CHA 2013 show, Claudine demoed her new stencils and showed how they work with existing Ranger products to create great looks.
In this video, you can see Claudine use her new stencils with gesso and a bit of paint to create a fun look that is perfect for backgrounds! Take a look:
Now that we’re back from CHA, we’ll be sharing some videos and photos from each designer that demoed in our booth at the show. We also thought it would be fun to share some of our new products with you, so stay tuned to the end of this blog post to see if you are one of our surprise winners!

As you may know, it has become a tradition of ours to entertain a Designer Challenge at the CHA Winter Show, and we are delighted to announce that this is our 8th year of hosting this notable event. We invited a group of designers we admire to participate based on their unique artistic style and creative talents. The challenge was to create a mixed-media piece on an 11” x 14” wrapped canvas board using one main color of Dylusions Inks Sprays, as well as Black Marble and White Linen Sprays for contrast, Dylusions Stencils, Black and White Gesso and various Ranger surfaces for them to alter and use to embellish their artwork.
We think you’ll agree that the entries this year are incredibly creative and imaginative. Each artist’s project is so inspiring in their use of the Dylusions product line and showcases its versatility for use with a wide range of artistic styles.
Our thanks go out to all the designers for the time and effort they put into the Challenge. For more fun and inspiration, take a look at each artist’s website!
As you probably know, we are still here at CHA. As the show begins to wind down, we thought it would be a good time to start sharing some of photos we captured. The other day we snapped some shots of Tim Holtz, Dyan Reaveley, and Vintaj’s classes. Take a look:
A new year means a new set of tag-tastic inspiration every month from none other than Tim Holtz. This month, Tim has yet another inspiring tag to kick the new year off right. Check out his blog to see all the details.
Even with everything going on around preparing for CHA, we just had to make a few projects of our own that were inspired by this tag. Take a look:
In addition to the new Dylusions Ink Sprays colors, Dyan also has new stamps and stencils that she will be debuting at CHA this year.
When you pickup your new ink sprays be sure to try them out on Dyan’s new Dylusions Stencils! These stencils are available in 3 new stylish silhouettes for endless possibilities.
On the stamping side of things, Dyan’s Rubber Stamp line has 6 new additions – Dy’s Alphabet, Mischievous Malcom, Monster Mash, Ocean Backgrounds, Say It How It Is, and Under The Sea, but that’s not all!
The brand new line of Dylusions Couture Collection Clear Stamps will debut in February. These 9×5 footprint stamps will be available in 3 large sets and 1 mini set that contains all of the images. To make using these new clear stamps even easier, we are also launching the new Dylusions Journal Block. This clear stamp block was designed to perfectly fit the new Couture collection and also features a wavy edge that can be used as a template for creative journaling.
