Instructions

Step 1:  Create a torn edge on Distress Watercolor Cardstock using a Distress Waterbrush and Dylusions Journal Block.

Step 2:  Mount "Hello Sunshine" Stamp from the Letter It Hello Sunshine Stamp set to acrylic block. Use the Emboss It Grey Pen to ink only the "Hello" part of the stamp.

Step 3: Stamp onto bottom right corner of surface. Use the Emboss It Pen to hand-letter the worn spring.

Step 4: Spinkle with White Embossing Powder. Remove excess powder and melt using Heat It Craft Tool.

Step 5: Spitz background with water using Distress Sprayer. Lightly sprinkle on Vintage Photo Distress Glaze. Melt with Heat It Craft Tool. Repeat with Walnut Stain Distress Glaze.

Step 6: Colorize background with Distress Oxide in Peacock Feathers, Worn Lipstick and Squeezed Lemonade. Blend colors with Ink Blending Tool.

Step 7: Wipe embossed sentiment clean with dry cloth or paper towel.

Step 8: Add a shadow to sentiment with Hickory Smoke Distress Marker.

Step 9: Mount card to card base with Letter It Double Sided Tape.

Her love of art began so young that her mom jokes that she was born with a pencil in her hand. Although she grew up drawing and painting, her creative life took a hiatus in adulthood while she pursued a technology career. In 2015, she fell in love with the art of calligraphy and hand lettering and her fingers have been inky ever since.
