Hi there! It’s Cheiron Brandon and I am back with another fun tutorial using the brand new Tim Holtz Alcohol Neons. This month I am combining them to create a bright neon rainbow background for a clean and simple card.  

Step 1: Gather your supplies – black alcohol ink cardstock, Alcohol Neons, Alcohol Blending Solution and Alcohol Ink Mixative in Snow Cap.   

Step 2: Add some Alcohol Blending Solution to your panel.  
 

Step 3: Add your first colors (do one or two at a time) and a tiny drop of Snowcap Mixative. Use the Alcohol Ink Blower to move the ink around, add more blending solution if needed.  

Step 4: Add additional colors, using blending solution and just a tiny amount of Snow Cap Mixative.  

Step 5: After adding solution, mixative and each color, be sure to move the ink around your panel with the Alcohol Ink Blower.  

Step 6: Continue until your panel is completely covered.  
 

Step 7: Drip additional colors over the panel.  

Step 8: Mix a color of Neon Alcohol Ink with Alcohol Blending Solution.  

Step 9: Splatter the mixture over your panel, repeat with additional colors.  

Step 10: Mix some Black Soot Distress Paint with a small amount of water.  

Step 11: Splatter the panel with the Black Soot paint. Let dry or dry with heat tool.  

Step 12: Stamp the sentiment from the Bold Sayings set using Distress Archival Ink in Black Soot onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock.

Step 13: Add the stamped sentiment to a panel of Black Alcohol Ink Cardstock.
