Why limit the Dylusions rocks and dust to just our journals when we can create shimmery ornaments for our Christmas tree!

Step 1: You will need 2 Hexagon boards for this project.

Step 2: Using a ruler and sharp knife, cut from one of the boards a smaller hexagon leaving about a ¼” border on the frame piece.

Step 3: Cover the cut hexagon frame piece with the Dyamond Medium using the dabber. Cover with Dyamond Rocks in Postbox Red. Repeat process until you have the desired thickness of rocks on your piece. Two layers were used on the piece shown.

Step 4: Using your finger or sponge, apply some Dylusions Postbox Red paint around the edge of the hexagon frame to cover up the exposed cardboard.

Step 5: Paint the full hexagon board and the smaller hexagon piece you cut, with Black Marble paint.

Step 6: Stamp the larger hexagon using the holly stamp from the Stamp Set Holly and the Ivy, with the Dyamond Medium Ink pad. Apply some Dyamond Dust in Postbox Red and Island Parrot using the Dyamond Brush Set.

Step 7: Repeat the same process on the smaller hexagon using the small Merry Christmas stamp from the set Just Robbin Along. Don’t forget to set your pieces with a mist of water.

Step 8: Poke holes in the hexagons. You will need to poke one on the top and bottom (centered) of the large hexagon and the hexagon frame. You will only need to poke a hole on the top of the small hexagon.

Step 9: Join the pieces together using some thread, creating loops and tying the ends.

Step 10: Once you join them all together, also adding a larger loop to the top to hang your ornament, you are done! Your ornament is ready for the tree or to place on top of a present as an extra gift!
