We’ve got big news for all of you Distress Ink fans out there – and there are a lot of you! We know you remember the 12 colors of Tim Holtz® Distress Inks that were previously released as Seasonal Inks during 2011 and 2012. We’ve been hearing you clamoring for their return through our blog, Facebook, Twitter, and our customer service lines. Well, we heard you – loud and clear!
We are proud to officially announce that Tim Holtz® Distress Seasonal Inks are now available all year long! That’s right, the entire 12 color collection is now part of the Distress Ink palette bringing the total up to 48 colors. In addition to ink pads, the reinkers are also available for every shade.

If you think you’re excited right now, we must say NO ONE is more excited about this than Tim Holtz himself. Check out this video of Tim breaking the news!
We realize that these new colors are way too good for us to hold on to, so we decided to hold a contest to give some away to you – our adoring fans! We want to see how you use Distress Ink Pads. If you have some of these colors from their previous release, we’d love to see them in use, but if you haven’t had a chance to get them, we’ll accept any use of Distress Ink Pads.
For the next week our new InLinkz feature will be open at the bottom of this blog post. Simply link to a photo of your project that features Distress Ink Pads on your blog or on your favorite image hosting service (such as Flickr) and we will select a few random entries to win a grab bag that features some of the new Distress Ink colors!
Entries will be accepted below until Friday, October 12th at 12 noon eastern time. We can’t wait to see the wonderful things you come up with!

Oh Ranger how you make me a happy crafter, no wonder I’m addicted to you! I love all of the seasonal distress inks and use them all year round on my projects! I have linked a project from June (hope that’s acceptable) which uses a variety of colours and it’s still one of my favourites makes!
Woo Hoo! So glad these colors will be available all the time! Now I don’t have to hoard and protect my seasonals!! I love all the seasonal distress colors. If I had to pick just one – nearly impossible, though – I would say Salty Ocean…love that blue!! Ummmm…Ranger….one more request, please? How about seasonal stains and markers to match???

So exciting!! Not only can I now get the first 3 colors (not buying them turned into a huge regret), but since Salty Ocean and Squeezed Lemonade are two of the best colors EVER I’m happy I don’t have to hoard them, lol.

Hard to pick a project to show you, as I don’t think I’ve ever made anything yet WITHOUT the Distress Ink pads!! But I picked a slightly older one where I think they really shine… the most amazing inks to use. Thank you SO much for releasing the seasonals – especially for newbies for me who missed last autumn altogether because I wasn’t crafting yet!!
