Adirondack® Acrylic Paint Dabber Fourth of July Card By Patti Behan

Use Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabbers to make a card that’s exploding with fun!

Instructions

“Patti Splat” Technique Instructions
(1) For this technique choose two or three dabber colors for your background. A heavyweight cardstock or watercolor paper will give you the best results. (Note: Since this technique is a little messy wear a smock and make sure your workspace is clear and protected with a plastic tablecloth and Non-Stick Craft Sheet.)

(2) Load dabber top with paint by squeezing the sides of the dabber and pressing the top down on the Non-Stick Craft Sheet until the paint comes through the sponge.

(3) Spritz the top of the dabber with about five sprays of water using the Mister until it looks juicy.

(4) Pounce dabber firmly onto cardstock in one motion and a splat should occur. (Note: If your dabber top is not wet enough, the paint will not splatter. Practice on scrap paper before starting your project.)

Project Instructions
(1) Paint three Grungeboard stars with Silver dabber. Let dry.
