Alcohol Ink World’s Best Dad Card

Instructions

1. Cut black cardstock to 8.5” x 5.5”. Place cardstock into paper trimmer at 4.25”, and score down the middle using a Paper Creaser.

2. Fold in half and burnish with a paper creaser to create a 4.25” x 5.5” card.

3. Cut a piece of brown cardstock to 4” x 5.25” and glue to center of black card with a Collage Glue Stick.

4. Diecut globe from gloss paper. Use scissors to snip off the globe from the stand.

5. Working on the Non-Stick Craft Sheet, color the stand by putting a few drops each of Espresso and Sandal Alcohol Ink and one drop of Gold Mixative onto Ink Tool with Felt, and pounce onto diecut.

6. Add some Blending Solution to the felt and pounce to blend the colors.

7. Glue globe stand onto the card with Multi-Medium.

8. Color the detached globe by using a few drops each of Aqua, Sailboat Blue, and Stonewashed Alcohol Ink on tool with felt and pounce. Apply some Blending Solution to the felt and then pounce again. Glue Globe onto the card.

9. Color a 4” x 4” piece of Gloss Paper using the same colors as above. Ink the globe stamp with Jet Black Archival ink and stamp image onto the square. Cut out the image with scissors and glue on top of globe. Note that the stamped image will be slightly smaller than the globe.

10. Color a 4” x 4” piece of Gloss Paper using a few drops each of Pesto, Meadow and Willow Alcohol Ink on tool and felt and pounce ink onto the square. Ink the globe stamp with Jet Black Archival ink and stamp image onto the square.

11. Cut out the country portions of the image with scissors and adhere to the globe with Pop it Shapes.

12. Cut a 12” x 2.5” strip of black cardstock and cover it completely with Wonder Tape. Place strip tape side up on the alphabet die and cut in the Vagabond Machine.

13. Use a die pick to carefully remove letters and apply to card.
