Don’t let the art supplies be the boss of you! Just because an image looks one way when stamped, doesn’t mean you can’t break up the image and use it in different ways. Follow along to create some fun on your journal pages with cropping images.
Step 1: Blend some sage onto your page with the Mosiac Cobblestone Stencil. Tear out some Ledger Pages and glue them down to your page.
Step 2: Stamp some Church Doodle faces onto white cardstock with Jet Black Archival Ink and cut out. Trim the faces in half, in thirds, and in half lengthwise. Play around with different angles.
Step 3: Draw a line through your spread with a Stabilo pencil. Rub the line with your finger to smudge.
Step 4: Glue your faces along the edges of the page and onto your line with Ultra Thick Gel Medium. Trace some leaves onto your page with your Stabilo pencil using the Sprouts stencil.
Step 5: Using a brush and some water you can start filling in your leaf shapes to add some depth as the Stabilo is water soluble.
Step 6: Add some doodles in random places around your page.
Step 7: Stamp some text from the Moments stamp set onto your cardstock and cut out. Edge around the text with your stamp pad to add some depth.
Step 8: Glue your text down with Ultra Thick Gel Medium.
