Step 1: For this project you will be stamping directly onto your journal. Since the new couture stamps are clear begin with the red ones you’ll use for faces.

Step 2: Now you’re ready to stamp the dress. Make a second dress and cut it to use as mask.

Step 3: Stamp your second face and place your dress over your finished First Lady. This will create a depth on the second girl and protect the dress of the first one.

Step 4: This is the end result.

Step 6: Stamp and cut the glasses. 

Stamp the handbags. As many as you’d like. You’ll use them for the girls and for the title.

Step 7: Apply a coat of gesso to the chipboard.

Step 8: Use your favorite stencils to create the background.

Step 9: Carefully get in between the girls. I know I’m working backwards but this gives me a perfect clean surface to stamp the girls.

Step 10: Spray the gessoed page.

Step 11:  You create the buildings use the squares in the borders stencil with Shimmer Paint in Black Marble.

Step 12: Use the stitching stencil to create a different sized building.Yup, my imagination is precious!!!!

Step 13: Use a black marker to define the buildings.

Step 14: Doodle on the gessoed page. I discovered that the hexagons make a cool handbag!
