Funky Flower Art by Cassie Lynch

In this tutorial, learn how to get even more out of your Wendy Vecchi MAKE ART Blendable Dye Ink Re-Inkers. Cassie Lynch shows how you can use the ink and a brayer to create abstract colorful background for a card.

Instructions

Step 1: Squeeze a small amount of MAKE ART Blendable Dye Reinker color Prickly Pear on the Craft Sheet.  Spritz with water and then roll your brayer thru the wet ink. Roll this directly onto the Perfect White Cardstock. Dry with a Heat It Tool. Repeat this technique using the Bluebird Reinker.

Step 2: This picture shows what your paper should look like after applying both ink colors.

Step 3: Ink the Simply Plaid background stamp with Watering Can Archival Ink. Stamp this onto your inked paper.

Step 4: Stamp the flower from Funky Flower onto your cardstock using Jet Black Archival Ink.

Step 5: Stamp the same flower onto another piece of cardstock using Jet Black Archival Ink. Color using Make Art Blendable Dye Ink Colors Carnation Red, Sunflower and Leaf Green. It’s very easy to color using the accompanying stencil and the MAKE ART Stay-tion.

Step 6: Fussy cut the flower and glue it onto the stamped flower using Perfect Card Adhesive. Stamp a sentiment to the card front. I used the sentiment from Funky Flower Art.

Add some Wendy Vecchi Washi Tape for texture and interest. Then, using a stylus add dots with Liquid Pearl colors Sunflower and Carnation Red.
