Sending Love Card by Joy Baldwin

Send a little love with this easy to make card by Joy Baldwin. Follow along as Joy shows how she uses the Wendy Vecchi Blendable Dye Inks to create pops of color on top of a flower stencil to highlight a thoughtful greeting.

Sending Love Card Step 1

Step 1: Starting with a piece of Perfect Cardstock, use some Wendy Vecchi Washi tape or low tack tape and tape a line across the cardstock (this will be a mask). Take the Blendable Dye Ink, starting with Buttercup and ink below and above the taped line. Dragging the ink pad heaviest at the tape line and lighter towards the end of the cardstock. Do the same with the Sky Blue and Tea Rose inks, overlapping the inks slightly.

Sending Love Card Step 2

Step 2: Using the Make Art Stay-tion hold down the Flower Burst stencil over the inked background. Apply the Perfect Medium directly to the stencil.

Sending Love Card Step 3

Step 3: Remove the stencil and apply the Perfect Pearls with the brush. Brush off the excess powder and set it with a very fine mist of water.

Sending Love Card Step 4

Step 4: Remove the tape and then stamp the “Sending Love” sentiment from It's The Little Things Stamp Set. Use the Grey Tinted Emboss It Ink to stamp the sentiment and heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder.

Sending Love Card Step 5

Step 5: Trim down the sides and top of the card panel 1/4”, then adhere that to a white A2 size card base (made from Stark White Cardstock).
