At first I struggled trying to figure out how to use these large tags when I normally use my distress inks. But because of that, I found myself breaking out of my comfort zone and starting using different products and techniques that would work on the black background. The size is great for anyone trying to add writing space to a junk journal or altered book as well.

Love, love, love these tags. So easy to design on! So easy to add other elements! And so easy to manipulate as in my photo where it’s folded with a ribbon pull to open up and have journaling inside that you may not want to share. I want to get the manilla ones next. I have a whole box of really nice ones from the office supply store, but that surface doesn’t hold up as well to all the mixed media battering lol.
