Find out how Megan Whisner Quinlan creates this Dina Wakley Media I Am Journal Page using Gloss Sprays and a simple stenciling technique in this tutorial.

Instructions

One of the easiest ways to get a quick background going is to use Dina Wakley Gloss Sprays and some simple stenciling techniques. In minutes you will have an inspiring background to begin a mixed media spread. Follow along to see how quickly you can achieve this spread in your journal.

Dina Wakley I am Journal Page Step 1

Step 1: Gesso your page with Clear Gesso using a Mini Blending Tool. Allow to dry. This will allow for better blending when you apply your acrylic sprays.

Step 2: Spray different colors around your center and leave some white space. Allow colors to pool and mix as they dry. Let the sprays do the work for you.
