Step 1: In the Dina Wakley Media Ledger Journal, use a dry brush with Dina Wakley Media acrylic paint in white to cover most of the page.

Step 2: With the Dina Wakley Media Stencil Small Squovals and acrylic Paint in Sage, use a blending tool to add the design over the entire page and let it dry.

Step 3: Use a smaller paintbrush and Dina Wakely Media Acrylic Paint in Oro to paint about a dozen squares, scattering them across the page, and let it dry.

Step 4: Using the Dina Wakley Media number 10 tag, rip it in half, then paint with Dina Wakley Media Acrylic Paint in Oro and let it dry.

Step 5: Using the Dina Wakley Media Stencil Small Squovals and Dina Wakley Media Acrylic Paint in Sage, use your blending tool to add the stencil design to the tag, then let it dry.

Step 6: With the Dina Wakley Media Stamp Filled Hearts (cascade design), pick the hearts from biggest to smallest and stamp toward the left and center of the page. You can stamp as hard or light as you wish. Then let it dry.

Step 7: Continue using the Dina Wakley Media Stamp Filled Hearts and stamp one heart on the ripped and painted tag with your chosen words from the stamp collection. I chose “The heart wants what the heart wants.”

Step 8: Using the leftover Dina Wakley Media Acrylic paint in sage on your blending tool, rub the paint on the other half of the ripped tag and let it dry.

Step 9: Using one of the heart stamps, stamp it on the ripped tag. Then cut out the heart shape.

Step 10: Using Tim Holtz Idea-ology Mummy cloth, rip a small portion, then roll it in Dina Wakley Media Acrylic Paint in Ora and let it dry.

Step 11: Make a hole at the top of the heart using a hole punch, then staple the dried mummy cloth to the heart.

Step 12: Using a string of any kind you have, thread it through the hole and attach it to the ripped tag. Then staple it to the journal page.
Bonus: You can then use the Letter Fine Liner by Ranger to trace the outline of the hearts if you wish.
