Step 1: In the Dina Wakley Media Journal, using Acrylic Paint in Magenta, dry brush the page, covering most of it but leaving some at the top and sides.

Step 2: Using the Pieces Stencil and Night acrylic paint, use a blending tool to add the lines in the upper right-hand corner and lower left corner.

Step 3: With your blending tool already loaded with Night paint, use the pieces stencil and add lines to a Dina Wakley Media Metal Rimmed Tag.

Step 4: Using the Dina Wakley Media Collage Sparks Collection 3, cut out a quote. I chose “It was her chaos that made her beautiful.” Then, using a black Posca pen or paint pen, outline the quote and use Dina Wakley Media Glue to secure it to the metal ring.

Step 5: Cut out three faces from the the Dina Wakley Media Transparencies Tinies Set 1.

Step 6: Place the faces on the journal page, scattered throughout. Using Dina Wakley acrylic paint in white, place three dots under the first transparency cut-out and press down.

Step 7: Press down on the paint to help it spread out so the transparency can adhere to the journal page, while also giving a unique look to the woman’s face.

Step 8: Add Sunshine paint to the second transparency cut out. Again, push down with your finger to help spread and adhere the transparency to the journal page. Then add Sky paint to the third transparency cut out—reminder: push down with your finger to let the paint spread and adhere to the journal.

Step 9: Using Dina Wakley Media Glue, add glue to the bottom part of the metal tag and secure it to the top of the page. This not only acts as a page tag, but the quote tops the woman, and I believe it packs a powerful message: “It was her chaos that made her beautiful.”
