Instructions
Step 1: Trim Ranger's Watercolor Paper to 4-1/4x5-1/2 inches. Die cut a circle using Tim Holtz Stitched Circle Framelits Die out of Simon Hurley's Stark White Cardstock.
Step 2: Start with Simon Hurley's Ink, Bee Sting and smoosh that onto the Non-Stick Craft Sheet.
Step 3: Run Tim Holtz Flat Tip Water Brush Pen through the ink and paint a stripe on the top of the Watercolor Paper.
Step 4: Continue painting stripes in rainbow order using ink colors in, Traffic Cone and Slippery When Wet. Be sure to clean the tip of the brush between inks.
Step 5: Finish painting with Later Gator, Remember Me and Triple Berry. Slightly overlap each color onto the previous one for a blending effect between the colors.
Step 6: Place Bear and Balloon stamp from Bestest Friends stamp set onto the Acrylic Block. Stamp the images using Archival Ink in Jet Black onto a piece of Stark White Cardstock. Also stamp a birthday hat from the stamp set.
Step 7: Smoosh Grrr! ink onto the Non-Stick Craft Sheet and dip Tim Holtz Water Brush Detail Pen into the ink and color the Bear. Smoosh Later Gator onto the Non-Stick Craft Sheet and use the Water Brush Pen to color the Balloon. Use Slippery When Wet and Traffic Cone to color the Birthday Hat from the stamp set.
Step 8: Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Bestest Friends stamp set in Remember Me ink onto the die cut circle.
Step 9: Adhere the rainbow background to an A2 size card base, made from Stark White Cardstock, using Ranger's Multi Medium Matte glue. Then adhere the circle die cut to the background slightly off of the card on the left. Trim off over hang with scissors.
Step 10: Apply Clear Foam Adhesive to the back of the Bear, Hat and Balloon. Adhere that to the front of the card on the circle die cut. The Balloon will overhang onto the rainbow background.
Step 11: Finish with Glossy Accents on the hat, eyes and nose. Use Diamond Stickles on the Balloon, the sentiment and a scattering of dots around the card for embellishment.
