Today’s card shows a quick and easy way to get a painted look using Liquid Pearls and a Rubber Brayer.

Step 1: Cut a panel of Simon Hurley create Stark White Cardstock to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. Using a small Ranger Brayer, spread Onyx Pearl Liquid Pearls over the entire panel. It is not necessary to spread the Liquid Pearls evenly, some variation adds interest. Allow to dry. Note: The Ranger Craft Sheet is actually a little too slippery to evenly distribute the Liquid Pearls on your brayer, instead use a scrap of cardstock or a sheet of printer paper to load the brayer.

Step 2: Place the dry panel in a stamping platform. Arrange the outer portion of the Whimsical Florals Background Stamp over the panel. Apply Liquid Pearls to the stamp and stamp onto the panel. Note: When a stamp is larger than the panel you are stamping on, adhere the panel to a larger piece of cardstock/scrap paper so that the panel is more toward the center of your stamping platform to allow easier placement of the stamp.
Once stamping is completed, insert the inner portions of the stamp on the platform, remove outer portion and wash immediately. The Liquid Pearls will stick to the rubber, using your fingernail or gently buffing with the abrasive side of a sponge will remove any residue.

Step 3: Repeat Step 2 to stamp/paint the flowers using Coral, Rouge, and Raspberry. For the flower centers, use a finger to dab a bit of paint in the center of the flowers.

Step 4: Assemble card. Trim down stamped/painted panel and adhere to Wendy Vecchi Perfect Cardstock White Card. Using the Clear Emboss It Ink Pad, stamp your sentiment onto another piece of brayer/Liquid Pearls painted cardstock, and emboss with Ranger Embossing Powder Princess Gold. Adhere sentiment with foam adhesive.
