I love patriotic themed products, so the newest Make-It release is right up my alley. Today’s card layers ink, stamping, and stenciling to create a bright, America themed card.
Step 1: Ink a panel of Simon Hurley create. Stark White Cardstock with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad Candied Apple and Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad Uncharted Mariner in opposite corners.
Step 2: Deepen the color in each corner using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad Lumberjack Plaid and Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad Chipped Sapphire.
Step 3: Using the star images from the Make-It Americana stamp set, randomly stamp the images in Ranger Mini Archival Ink Pad Old Glory Red over the red-inked portion of the panel, and in Ranger Mini Archival Ink Pad Old Glory Blue over the blue-inked portion of the panel.
Step 4: Place Make-It Stars & Stripes stencil over panel, and then spread White Opal Liquid Pearls over star portion of the stencil using Simon Hurley Silicone Paste Spreader. Allow to dry.
Step 5: Place Make-It Stars & Stripes stencil over panel, and then spread White Opal Liquid Pearls over waves portion of the stencil using Simon Hurley Silicone Paste Spreader. Allow to dry.
Step 6: Assemble card. Trim down panel and adhere to Wendy Vecchi Perfect Cardstock White Panel. Stamp sentiment, from Make-It Americana stamp set on Simon Hurley create. Stark White Cardstock using Ranger Mini Archival Ink Pad Old Glory Red in the top left portion and Ranger Mini Archival Ink Pad Old Glory Blue in the lower portion, allowing colors to blend. Fussy cut sentiment, and pop up with foam adhesive.
