Step 1: To start things off, choose three colors from Simon Hurley's new line - Simon Hurley create. Using Overzealous, Remember Me, and Triple Berry and the Mini Ink Blending Tool and Replacement Foam Pads, blend each color, overlapping each one to get a cool blend of the colors where they met.

Step 2: Next, lay the Backsplash stencil on top of the blended background. Use the Ranger Mister to spritz on a coat of water and let it sit for 15 to 20 seconds before removing the stencil so that the water had a chance to react with the ink. The result is a cool ghosting effect where the stencil design appears darker than the rest of the blended background.

Step 3: Use Enamel Accents in Black Tie and Glacier White to add a little interest to the background. Put a little of each on the Ranger Non-Stick Craft Sheet and spritz them with water. Use the Splatter Brush to flick the color onto the background.

Step 4: The Trampoline Friends stamp set is the perfect fit for this fun and lighthearted card. Use two strips of black card stock and heat emboss the sentiments 'I'm so flipping excited' and 'for you' in white embossing powder. I adhered these to my card panel using Multi Medium Matte.=

Step 5: Use the cute dog stamp as well as three of the silly bird images. Stamp these with black ink and color them using Copic markers. Cut them out by hand and adhere them to the card panel. For the dog, cut the little areas under his arms so it looks like he's hanging on the black banner strip.

Step 6: Mount the card panel on foam to add a bit of dimension and then adhere this to a white A2 card base. That finished off the card!
