Hi there everyone! Have you gotten started on your holiday cards yet? The new Simon Hurley create. release has some great options to get you making. I love all the details in the new Holiday Birds set. Plus, it has so many amazing holiday sentiments! Let’s get into the card!

Step 1: Trim a piece of Stark White Cardstock down to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. Blend some High Tide Stellar Ink onto the right-hand side of the cardstock with a Medium Blending Brush to give it an ombre effect.

Step 2: Secure the Stained Glass Snow Stencil down on the panel, and spread some Icebreaker Astro Paste over the blended ink with a Silicone Paste Spreader. Set that aside to dry.

Step 3: Ink the bird image from the Holiday Birds set with some Jet Black Archival Ink, and cover with some Super Fine Clear embossing powder. Heat set the image.

Step 4: Smoosh some Tropical Tango, Slippery When Wet, Red Flag and Black Soot Stellar Inks onto a nonporous surface, and watercolor the image with the waterbrush.

Step 5: Ensure that your bird image is dry, then die cut the image using the matching dies.

Step 6: Stamp the sentiment onto the card panel in the upper left-hand side using Black Widow Stellar Ink.

Step 7: Attach the bird to the card panel using Clear Foam Double Stick tape. Attach the panel to a card base that measures 5 ½” x 8 ½” and was scored at 4 ¼”.
