Step 1: Ink up the Splish Splash background stamp with Breakup Blue ink. Lay the Stark White Cardstock on the stamp to transfer the ink. Use your hand to hold the cardstock in place and smooth the cardstock with the other hand to get a good transfer of ink.
Step 2: Use a pair of scissors to cut around some of the puddles. This will leave an open white space on the card when we attach our background to the card base.

Step 3: Use Jet Black Archival Ink to stamp out the dog image from the Puddle Pals Stamp Set. You can choose to color this with your favorite coloring medium or leave it uncolored.
Step 4: Treat a piece of black cardstock with the Anti-Static Pouch and stamp the ‘I’m here for you’ sentiment in Watermark Resist Ink. Pour White Superfine Detail Embossing Powder on the wet ink and tap off the excess. Use the Heat Tool to melt the powder. Trim the sentiment down to a strip.
Step 5: Stamp out the umbrella image from Puddle Pals in Jet Black Archival Ink. Stamp the solid umbrella center with Prom Queen Ink. Use a pair of scissors to cut out the umbrella.

Step 6: Use Matte Multi Medium to assemble the card.

I’m Jess Francisco from A Card Day’s Work. I live in Virginia Beach with my husband and our sons who are 4 and 2 years old. They keep me busy, so most of my crafting is done while they’re in bed. I have been creating for as long as I can remember, but I started my card making journey in 2015. I have learned so many techniques and added so many new products to my growing list of favorites. Now that I have a few years under my belt, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned with the crafting community! You can find me on social media as @acarddayswork or my website:
