One of my favorite things about the Ranger lineup of products is that I can always find the ink color I need and there's always a shade of Stickles to coordinate!

Step 1: Gather Materials: Ranger Stickles Glitter Glue in Sun Burst, Sunflower, Seafoam, Orange Slice, Cayenne and Copper; Archival Inks in Sun Dazed, Sea Grass, Olive, Bright Tangelo, Wine Cellar, Sepia and Coffee; Emboss It Clear Ink; White and Marigold Embossing Powders; Simon Hurley create Nature Hike Peel-Apart Background Stamp and Sentimental Flowers Clear Stamp Set.

Step 2: With Clear Emboss It Ink, Stamp Simon Hurley's Nature Hike Peel-Apart Background Stamp on a 4.5 x 6" piece of Stark White Cardstock, sprinkle with Ranger Marigold Embossing Powder and melt with the Heat It Craft Tool. Allow the image to cool completely before proceeding.

Step 3: Use a Mini Ink Blending tool to apply Sun Dazed Archival Ink generously all over the embossed panel from Step 1; then sparingly apply Sepia Archival to just the edges and corners.

Step 4: With a small brush, add a little bit of Sunburst Stickles all around the edges of the inked panel. Set aside and allow to dry completely.

Step 5: Remove the individual acorn and leaf stamps from the Nature Hike Peel-Apart and stamp each of them twice in Clear Emboss It Ink. Sprinkle with Ranger White Embossing Powder and melt with the Heat It Craft Tool. Allow the images to cool completely.

Step 6: With a Mini Ink Blending tool and a different Domed Foam for each shade, apply Archival Inks as follows: Sea Grass to the leafy branch; Olive to the ginkgo leaves; Bright Tangelo to the maple leaves; Wine Cellar to the oak leaves. To the acorns add a light coat of Sepia to the nut and Coffee to the cap. If any of the colors seem too bright, blend in a bit of Sepia with a very light hand. When finished, swipe an Alcohol Wipe softly across the panel to clean the ink off the white embossing (this will not affect the ink that's on the paper).

Step 7: Use a small brush to add a little bit of Stickles to each of the leaves and acorns; try to cover a little less than half of each image. Colors on the sample are as follows: Sunflower Stickles on the leafy branch; Seafoam to the ginkgo leaves; Orange Slice to the maple leaves; Cayenne on the oak leaves. For the acorns, add Copper Stickles to the caps, only. Set aside and allow to dry. When the images are completely dry, cut them out with scissors. Gently curl the edges of some of the leaves, so that they look more dimensional.

Step 8: Stamp "Hello Friend" from Simon Hurley's Sentimental Flowers Clear Stamp Set with Clear Emboss It Ink on a scrap of Dina Wakley Kraft Cardstock and emboss with white powder. Use a small oval die to cut out. Cut a slightly larger oval from Stark White Cardstock to mat the first one. Ink this with Sun Dazed Archival, and add Sunburst Stickles to the edges. When the inked piece is dry, adhere the kraft sentiment to it with Wendy Vecchi Perfect Card Adhesive.

Step 9: Trim a strip of Stark White Cardstock to 1.5 x 6" and add a bit of Sunburst Stickles to the long edges. Trim a piece of Kraft to 1.75 x 6" and ink the long edges very lightly with Sepia. When the white piece is dry, affix it to the kraft mat.

Step 10: Assembly: Add the large Sun Dazed panel to a thin mat of white. Attach the matted border strip towards the lefthand side of the panel. Affix the matted oval sentiment to the border strip near the top of the card using foam tape. Scatter the leaves above and below the oval, orienting them in different directions, so they look blown by the wind. Adhere the acorns with small pieces of foam tape. Attach the completed design panel to a kraft A6 card.

Step 11: Add an interior sentiment, if desired, sign the card and mail ASAP to a friend to wish them the happiest of Autumns!
