I love the fun sparkly bits in Stickles Glitter Gel. Utilizing the Glitter Gel to enhance your die cut pieces creates the perfect sparkle for a festive Christmas card, especially against a backdrop accented with Stickles Glitter Glue!

Step 1: Ink panel of Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock with Weathered Wood, Pumice Stone, Dried Marigold, and Vintage Photo Distress Inks and Tim Holtz Ink Blending Tools. Note, these colors were chosen to mimic the color of Mercury Glass Stickles Glitter Glue.

Step 2: Spritz inked panel with Antique Linen, Weathered Wood, and Frayed Burlap Tim Holtz Distress Spritzes, and allow to dry.

Step 3: Place Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Twinkle Layering Stencil over one side of the inked/spritzed panel and spread Mercury Glass Stickles Glitter Glue through the stencil with Simon Hurley Paste Tool. Clean stencil and allow panel to dry, then place stencil over second half of the panel and repeat.

Step 4: Apply Abandoned Coral Distress Ink to a second panel of Tim Holtz Watercolor paper.

Step 5: Spread Mars Stickles Glitter Gel over the Abandoned Coral panel and allow to dry. Note this takes quite a while, you may wish to do this a day ahead of time. This process was repeated using Mowed Lawn and Medusa Stickles Glitter Gel on a small portion of a Wendy Vecchi Perfect Cardstock White Panel.

Step 6: Once the stenciled panel is dry, ink edges using Pumice Stone and Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.

Step 7: Once the Glitter Gel panels are dry, die cut sentiments from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Thinlets Die Set Merry & Bright die set, and holly leaves and berries from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Thinlets Die Set Winston Colorize die set. Adhere die cuts to the stenciled panel, and adhere completed panel to Wendy Vecchi Perfect Cardstock White Card with foam adhesive.
