Hi there, crafty friends! It’s Cheiron Brandon and I am thrilled to be back on the Ranger Projects page today sharing a mini slimline card using the latest Distress Color, Uncharted Mariner, and the newest Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous stamps. I love the look of these stamps with newsprint, and instead of stamping them in black today, I stamped and embossed them in the beautiful blue shade of Uncharted Mariner for a bit of a vintage look.  

Step 1:  Gather your supplies to create the card panel. Distress Watercolor panel, Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide and Embossing Glaze, Antique Linen Distress Spray Stain, Kitsch Flamingo, Crushed Olive, Rustic Wilderness Distress Reinkers, Botanic Collage, and Noteworthy stamps.  

Step 2: Stamp the image from Botanic Collage using the Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide Ink.  

Step 3: Emboss the image using Uncharted Mariner Distress Embossing Glaze.  

Step 4: Place panel inside a Splat Box and mist with water.  

Step 5: Then mist the panel with Antique Linen Distress Spray Stain to move the stain around. Dry and add more stain if desired.   

Step 6: Dry the panel with a Heat Tool until it is completely dry.  

Step 7: Add a few drops of Distress Reinker to your Glass Mat and spritz with water. I used Kitsch Flamingo, Crushed Olive, and Rustic Wilderness.  

Step 8: Pick up reinker and paint in flowers with a Detailer Waterbrush, cleaning out the color from the brush before adding a new color to it. Dry with Heat Tool and then splatter the panel with Gilded Foundry Wax (do this by mixing the wax with a bit of isopropyl alcohol and using a paintbrush to splatter). Be sure to set the splatter by embossing with a Heat Tool.  

Step 9: Create another small watercolor paper using Antique Linen Distress Spray. Stamp your sentiment from the Noteworthy set in Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide and emboss it using Distress Embossing Glaze.  

Step 10: Trim the edges of your panel with a Deckle Trimmer.  

Step 11: Ink edges of sentiment strip and painted panel with Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide.  

Step 12: Adhere a piece of metallic cardstock to a card panel and then adhere the painted panel with sentiment strip.
