Instructions

Our very own Patti Behan shares with us this quick silent tutorial using Ranger Texture Paste, Texture Tools, Acrylic Paint Dabbers & Dye Ink Pads!

Step 1: Place heart mask in center of watercolor paper. Use palette knife to spread a thin layer of texture paste over the front of the card. No need to completely layer the card with paste, so that you will add some interest.

Step 2: Drag Texture Tool diagonally over the card. Set aside to dry.

Step 3: Once dry, tape the heart stencil on top of the card, lining it up with the masked heart. Color in the heart using Pink Gumball, Raspberry Sorbet and Classic Cherry Paint. Set aside to dry.

Step 4: Tape heart mask over painted heart. Use and Ink Blending Tool with Foam and Lemon Twist Ink and color the entire card front.

Step 5: Use the handwriting stamp and Raspberry Sorbet Ink to stamp the image randomly over the entire card front. Stamp with fully inked stamp and second and third generation stamping to add different shading.

Step 6: Once dry, tape the heart stencil on top of the card, lining it up with the masked heart. Using a Black Fude Ball Pen, outline the heart.

Step 7: Using a Black Tie Dye Ink Pad, slide the top of the pad along the edges of the card.

Step 8: Adhere with Adhesive Strips to the red cardstock.

Step 9: Stamp sentiment with Black Tie Ink on Watercolor Pape and cut it out in a banner shape. Glue to front of card with Adhesive Foam.
