I resisted this tool, thinking blowing through a straw was just as good, but once I got it, I knew it was much better. I've gotten some great results so far, and I expect to keep getting better at blowing the inks around with this.

You may laugh (and that would be OK) but I tried using a pediatric nasal aspirator instead of spending the $ for this. I am not cheap and I buy a lot (a lot!) of stamps, stencils, ink, dies and other crafting items. I thought I would use a cheaper alternative and save my $ for the "good stuff." Well, this is the good stuff! I thought my hand would cramp from using the little aspirator -- it worked but my hand literally hurt from how many times I had to squeeze that sucker! I did that for one set of alcohol ink creations and thought "Not doing that again!" This tool from TH makes it much easier to move the ink around the Yupo paper (or whatever surface). I'm happy with my purchase and deeply appreciate that Ranger included this in a sale on tools.

I bought this after seeing Tim demo-ing it on You Tube and not realizing that using a straw was unsafe! Haven't used it yet but I got a few sets of alcohol inks and am ready to dive into alcohol inks and adding them to my craft making.

Love this blower. It really moves the ink around using the "foundry and mixatives". Alcohol inks are so beautiful when using the blower to make swirls and patterns. Easy to use.

After viewing several video tutorials on how to use the Tim Holtz alcohol ink blower, I decided I had to have one. Admittedly, I am a novice at cool alcohol ink techniques, but this tool is very helpful. I like how it effortlessly moves the alcohol ink on paper so that it goes where I want it to. So far, I'm getting the results that I want. I am very happy with my purchase and plan on using my ink blower often.
