Dylusions Mini Archival Ink Kit #2
$14.99

When you need an ink that lasts, Archival Ink is where it's at. These Archival Ink pads are waterproof, acid-free and permanent on most porous surfaces once dry. So, your stamped projects won't smear, bleed or fade over time. That makes them especially reliable for card making, scrapbooking, journaling and any project you want to hold up for years.

They're also incredibly versatile. Use them for crisp, detailed stamping on cardstock, or try them on fabric, wood or clay. Because they dry permanently, you can layer watercolor, Distress Inks or other wet mediums right on top without worrying about your stamped image lifting.

Available in a wide range of colors, they're easy to build on as your projects and your style grow. If you're just getting started, the Mini Archival Ink Kits are a smart way to try several shades before going all in.

FAQs

What makes Archival Ink different from a dye ink pad?

Archival Ink dries permanently, so it won't smudge, bleed or fade the way a lot of dye inks will. Once an image is stamped, you can color over it with markers or watercolors, and your lines stay crisp. That's why it's such a go-to for card making and mixed media where you're layering color over a stamped image.

Will Archival Ink work on glossy or non-porous surfaces?

It will. Archival Ink is built to stamp cleanly on more than just plain paper, so glossy cardstock, vellum and other surfaces are all fair game where a dye ink would smear. Give it a little extra drying time or heat set before you handle your project, just to be safe.

Do I need to seal Archival Ink after stamping?

You don't, and that's the best part. Once it's dry, it's already water-resistant and fade-resistant on its own.

Can Archival Ink be re-inked, or do I need a new pad once it dries out?

You can re-ink it. Every Archival color has a matching re-inker, so when a pad starts running low, you just add a few drops back in rather than replacing the whole thing. Handy if you've already built up a color collection and don't want to start over. For more information about re-inking your stamp pads, please see the video here.

What's the difference between the full-size pads and the mini kits?

Same ink, smaller footprint. The mini kits group four coordinating colors into a size that's easier to travel with, easier to store and a nice way to try out a handful of shades before you commit to full-size pads
