The blending solution is needed to move the pearl inks. It also doesn’t wash out the color as much as isopropyl alcohol does.

Regular alcohol doesn't do what the blending solution does! That's for sure! It helps the colors move and blend to make some unexpected but fabulous stuff happen with the inks!

This is great blending solution for alcohol ink blending. It also has a built in "setting" solution so you don't have to spray a fixative on your work! Gotta love that feature!
