1. Extension bars at the top AND the bottom
2. Clear cutting guides on the cutter
3. Easy inserting of paper/cardstock without having to lift the cutting guide.

Beautiful trimmer! Iāve had this style trimmer for over 20 years, and it is so awesome to have a new one! I love the scoring feature, too! This tool cuts like a dream!
Only problem was the trimmer canāt be on with the scoring blade if cutting 12 by 12 paper do to size of cutting blade you canāt cut all the way to bottom maybe if scoring was smaller it would on be possible I took off the scoring part and use my score table I always use others may find it A problem other than that itās wonderful or the flip plate should be longer to allow blades to slide away from cutting area
