How are Glitter Gels different from regular loose glitter?

Stickles Glitter Gels come pre-mixed into a thick spreadable gel, so the glitter goes exactly where you put it instead of scattering across your desk. You get the same sparkle without the mess of loose glitter.  They are also great to spread through stencils. 

What's the best way to apply Stickles Glitter Gel? Brush, finger or something else?

A lot of crafters just dab it on with a finger for control over small areas, but a brush gives you more even coverage over larger sections, and stencils are great if you want a defined shape. It's forgiving enough that there's no one "right" way.  Palette knives are a great option for spreading glitter gel onto your project with less clean up than a brush.

Do the glitter pieces in each color look the same, or do they vary?

Each Glitter Gel color uses a unique  mix of glitter sizes and shapes, so some colors feature fine, subtle shimmer while others have larger, chunkier sparkle. Check out the full collection to see the shades and textures of each one.

Can Stickles Glitter Gel be used through a stencil?

Yes, and it's one of the more popular ways to use it. Just know that if your stencil has fine detail or small openings, you may need to work the gel in carefully so the glitter pieces don't get stuck or pulled out when you lift the stencil away.
