Step 1: Cut a piece of Simon Hurley create. Stark White Cardstock to 4.25” x 5.5” and peel apart the bottom portion of the Simon Hurley create. Jewel Heist Peel-Apart Background Stamp.
Step 2: Stamp the Jewel Heist Peel-Apart Background Stamp with Prom Queen Simon Hurley create. Dye Ink.
Step 3: Mix a teaspoon of Ranger Perfect Pearls into a Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer and spritz the background until the ink begins to run.
Step 4: Smoosh Prom Queen Ink onto a hard surface and spritz with the Perfect Pearls and water solution. Dip a paint brush into the ink and spatter ink drops onto the top portion of the panel.
Step 5: Stamp the outline of the floral cluster from the Simon Hurley create. Lovely Lantanas Stamp Set with Archival Jet Black Ink. Then stamp the layering images using Slippery When Wet, Guppy, and Later Gator Simon Hurley create. Dye Inks.
Step 6: As an option for more dimension use alcohol markers or your favorite coloring medium a shade darker than the dye inks to add accents and shading.
Step 7: Use scissors to trim around the floral image and sentiment leaving a white border.
Step 8: Adhere the pieces to the shimmer background panel using foam tape and the card is complete!
