At first I didn't buy this because it's called "church doodles," and not being a churchgoer, I didn't think I would need 'em. But it's not doodles about being in church, (duh,) it's doodles that Dina Wakley made while in church, which is definitely interesting to me. If I were in church and saw Dina doodling, I'd give anything to be sitting where I could see her sketch pad, wouldn't you? So for the low, low cost of whatever I paid for these, I get to look over Dina's shoulder and the best part? I DON'T EVEN HAVE TO SIT THROUGH A SERMON to do it!!!!!! Oh, and once I start getting the knack of using these in my art journal, I'll have a little bit of Dina's talent in my book, which has GOT to be an improvement. Dina just rips these out and staples them to some crazy mess of a page and the result is always something impressive. I'm going to try that too.
