Step 1: Open a page in the Dina Wakley Media Kraft Journal and using White Gesso and a large brush, paint on a thin coat in a backwards “L” shape.

Step 2: Using the stencil called Mushy Dots along with Ranger Ink’s blending tool, use the acrylic paint colors Taffy and Sunshine and add them to the page.

Step 3: Using the Collage Paper – Bold, tear a piece of the dots and lines. Then with the Gel Medium and a thick paint brush, add the gel medium to the page towards the bottom and place the collage paper on top. Then take gel medium and go over the collage paper to seal the placement of the paper.

Step 4: Using the Collage Sparks Collection 3 tear out a page and then rip it to give it the uneven  shape. Then using gel medium and a paint brush add the gel medium to the kraft journal page and then place the ripped collage sparks on top of that. Then take gel medium and cover the ripped page to secure and hold the paper.

Step 5: Using the stamp, Always Flowers, stamp the main flower with the Black Archival Ink onto white card stock. Using the remaining ink on the stamp, stamp a few times on the kraft journal page. Fussy cut the flower on the white card stock. Then stamp the quote onto the number 5 size of the assorted tag set.

Step 6: Using the medium glue, glue the back of the flower and place onto page, then the quote tag on top of the flower while slanting it just a bit.

Step 7: Using a small paint brush and acrylic paint in Evergreen and Magenta, paint the flower, stem and a few lines going down the side on top of the collage paper.

Step 8: Using the Ranger Ink Letter It Pen in black, outline the tag with the quote, and go over the lines of the flower to make them stand out a bit more.

Step 9: Using the small paint brush and acrylic paint in magenta, add a small “pea size” onto your craft matt. Add a bit of water to make it watery. Cover up your quote tag and then shake the brush over the page to create paint splatters.
