Bloom into your best self! Using Scribble sticks with the brand-new Flower crowns stamp set from Dina Wakley creates such a great effect. Have a go at creating an easy pocket art journal page with Claire.

Step 1: Add one of the flower crowns stamps to an acrylic block and lightly spritz with water, using the black scribble sticks add some pigment to the stamp, stamp it once onto a spare sheet of paper and then stamp the image onto one of the cotton watercolour panels.

Step 2: Take one of the Flower Crowns and repeat using some of the scribble stick colours - greens on the leaves and colours on the flowers. Stamp onto spare paper once and then stamp onto your cotton watercolour panel above the head.

Step 3: Using a wet round size 8 brush pull out the colours of the leaves and flowers, also pull out some of the colour from the face to add some shadows.

Step 4: Pop the same flower crown onto the acrylic block and add some black archival ink to the crown and stamp it over the scribble stick crown. Don’t overthink it lining up- it will look great.

Step 5: Paint some Taffy paint around the face and add some turquoise to the top of the body.

Step 6: Use magenta add some stencilling around the image, then with the left over Taffy, mix it on the blending tool with the magenta and pop the stencil on and move it slightly so you create a shadow and add some of the lighter colour over the top.

Step 7: Choose one of the butterflies from the Rub-Ons and add it over the body. Save some of the text parts and add them to the card too around the edges.

Step 8: Choose one of the quotes from the stamp set and using Ink in the colours Magenta and Iris add some text to the panel also.

Step 9: In the watercolour journal tear a couple of inches off the right-hand side of two pages and staple the top and bottom to create a pocket.

Step 10: Add some Iris to the torn pocket front and then add some stencilling in turquoise using the Groovy stencil.

Step 11: Using a sheet of the Chroma transparencies- Grunge specimens, cut three of the circles out and add three rub on butterflies to them. Add them to the pocket front and stick down using DWM glue.

Step 12: Stamp out a quote twice onto a piece of the torn off page and cut it out – add it to pocket front and also the watercolour panel.
