Instructions

Seasons greetings, crafty friends! The holidays have snuck up on us once again but it’s not too late to add a personal touch to your gifts. In this tutorial I’ll show you how fast you can create homemade gift wrap and tags using Dylusion’s stamps, Dyamond Dusts, and Stickles. Have fun creating and happy holidays to you all!

Step 1: Take the star, tree, and bauble stamps from the Dylusions Rock Your Christmas Cling Mount Stamp Set and mount them onto the Square Stamp Block. Use Dylusions Archival Ink in Cranberry Juice to ink your stamps.

Step 2: Stamp the images onto a large sheet of Kraft paper. Continue to ink and stamp the images until you’ve covered your paper.

Step 3: Squeeze out some of Dylusions Designer Series Stickles in Stardust onto a palette and use a brush to “paint” the stickles onto your wrapping paper to highlight some areas with sparkle.

Step 4: For a final shimmery touch to your wrapping paper add a small amount of Dylusions Dyamond Dust in Squeezed Orange to a few drops of water and splatter it all over. Set your paper aside to dry thoroughly.

Step 5: Start your tags by painting some Dylusions Dyamond Boards in the small star and tree shapes with Black Marble Flip Cap Paint.

Step 6: Once your boards are dry, stamp each shape with the corresponding shape stamp from the Rock Your Christmas set using the Dyamond Medium Ink Pad. Cover with white Dyamond Pebbles and tap off excess. Use the Ranger Heat It Craft Tool to emboss your tags.

Step 7: Repeat the process from step 6 to create the desired number of tags.

Step 8: Use the Dyamond Dusts to color in your tags with the same process used in step 4. Add a few drops of water to a small amount of dust and paint the tags using Squeezed Orange, Cherry Pie, and Island Parrot.

Step 9: You can poke holes in the top of your tags and add string to attach them to a gift. As a bonus gift, the tags can even be used as ornaments afterwards!
