Instructions
Keeping track is so much easier if the prep work is already done! Join me in creating a simple and effective weekly spread so all you have to do is fill in your notes and to-do’s as the days go by.
Step 1: For this tutorial, you will need two pages side by side in your Dylusions Dyalog Kraft Insert Book.
Step 3: In Ranger Jet Back Archival ink you will stamp a calendar and the bar with the letters for the days of the week, from the Dylusions stamp set, Check It Out; in the upper left corner of your first page. Choose the appropriate small calendar with the correct number of weeks for the month that you are working on. Write in the dates with the Letter It Fineliner 01.
Step 4: Next stamp out the days of the week from Ooh – What a Day! Space them out as shown in the picture, leaving enough room for notes throughout the week.
Step 5: With a piece of scrap paper covering your stamped day, stamp a line from Mini Doodles, dividing the days.
Step 6: Add some color to your pages by coloring in your lines with Dylusions Paint Pens. Here White Linen and Cut Grass have been used to make the days pop!
Step 7: Again, covering your stamped day, stamp the hexagon from Box it Up right below allowing half of it to stamp onto the scrap paper.
Step 8: Add the date in the hexagons using the numbers from Dylusions Creative Dyary Stamp Set.
Final Thoughts: I find this a quick and creative way to prep for the month. It looks great but it also leaves enough room to take notes for the week. I like to prep the whole month and keep it the same style. With the nice options from Dyan’s stamps, you can create a different look every month!
