Here’s a fun double spread to celebrate the fall season using Dylusions new Mushy Peas and Squeezed Orange Shimmer Sprays.
Step 1: I always stamp first.
Step 2: Then, I work around my stencils. I used Mushy Peas in a Blending Tool.
Step 3: I decided I wanted some scenery, so I added windows using the paper doll skirt. That gave me the opportunity to play with some leaves. I stamped three in between the two pages.
Step 4: Are you loving the Alphablocks as much as I am? And how wonderful that you can write anything your heart desires!
Step 5: Since I am going with a house theme, I decided to take the stitches for a spin and used them as grass by overlapping them.
Step 6: I also used this stitch as greenery.
Step 7: Now that all my stamping is complete, I’m ready to tackle the fun part. I love painting with Dylusions inks, and I love Dyan’s new brushes, so I never spray them; I play with them in brushes. It’s so fun to see these two colors blend together!
Step 8: This is how they look once you’re done.
Step 9: After finishing my leaves, I tackled everything in green.
Step 10: And then I did orange and some pen work in white for high contrast and finished it with some cute clouds!
