New Archival Inks and Stickles are the best... especially when they coordinate perfectly with the new Make-It Americana themed stamps and stencils; it's Red, White and Blue-tiful!

Step 1: Gather Materials: Make-It Americana Stamp Set, Stars and Stripes Stencil and Fireworks Stencil; Archival Inks in Old Glory Red, Old Glory Blue, Sand Castle, Beach Cruiser and Dark Roast; Stickles in Christmas Red, True Blue and Freedom; Liquid Pearls in Firecracker, White Opal and Blue Velvet; Simon Hurley create Stark White Cardstock.

Step 2: Trim a piece of Stark White Cardstock to 4 x 5.25" and place it under the Make-It Fireworks Stencil. Apply a coat of Old Glory Red Archival Ink through the stencil, then wipe the stencil clean with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry. Move the stencil so that the next layer of Fireworks will fall between the ones that've just been stenciled, and apply a coat of Old Glory Blue. Wipe the stencil clean, move it again, and apply Beach Ccruiser Archival.

Step 3: Dispense some Christmas Red and True Blue Stickles onto a palette and use a fine brush to add red sparkle to the red fireworks, and blue sparkle to the dark blue ones. (The pale blue fireworks will be left plain.) Wash the brush and palette immediately with warm water and dish soap.

Step 4: Working carefully, without smudging the Stickles, add a nice rounded drop of Firecracker Liquid Pearls to the centers of the red fireworks; White Opal to the pale blue ones; and Blue Velvet to the dark blue. Set the panel aside on a flat surface and allow to dry completely.

Step 5: Stamp the flag from the Americana Stamp Set three times on Stark White Cardstock: Once in Sand Castle Archival, once in Old Glory Red, and once in Old Glory Blue. Use scissors to cut out the entire flag (but not the pole) of the red image and layer it on top of the Sand Castle image. From the blue image, cut out just the star section and layer it in the appropriate position on top of the red image. Finally, cut out around the entire multicolor image, leaving a very narrow border of white all around.

Step 6: Stamp the top hat from the Americana set twice: once in Old Glory Blue and Once in Old Glory Red. Cut out just the vertical striped area from the red image and layer it over that part of the blue one; then cut out around the entire multicolor hat and set aside. Stamp the eagle in Dark Roast and cut out. Add a little bit of golden yellow colored pencil to the eagle's beak and the stars on the hat. Set aside.

Step 7: Stamp "God Bless America" in clear Emboss It Ink on a scrap of white cardstock and emboss with Ranger White Embossing Powder and the Heat It Craft Tool. Allow the melted embossing powder to cool completely before covering the entire sentiment with Old Glory Blue. Wipe the excess ink off the embossed areas with rubbing alcohol, allow to dry, then cut out neatly with scissors.

Step 8: Smoosh the Old Glory Blue Archival Ink Pad into your craft sheet and spritz with Isopropyl Alcohol. Dip a 4" square and a 2.5" square of Stark White Cardstock into the wet ink and repeat until both squares are covered in a medium blue shade, then set aside and allow to dry. Repeat this process with two additional squares using Old Glory Red.

Step 9: Using star dies or templates, cut out a large and small star from both of the blue squares and both of the red ones. Use the Star section of the Stars and Stripes Stencil to add Old Glory Blue Stars to the two blue star shapes, then ink the edges and affix the blue diecut stars to the red ones to create a drop shadow effect. Set aside.

Step 10: Create two mats from Stark White Cardstock: one measuring 4.25 x 5.5" and one that's 4 3/8 x 5 5/8". Apply Old Glory Blue to the edges of the smaller mat and Old Glory Red to the larger. Use a small brush to apply Freedom Stickles to the edges of the blue mat. Set aside and allow to dry completely.

Step 11: Assembly: Using Dina Wakley MEdia Glue, affix the Fireworks panel from Step 2 to the blue mat and then to the red mat from Step 10. Add the two matted stars to the upper part of the design panel on 3D Foam Squares, so that the smaller star overlaps the larger. Adhere the flag, eagle, top hat and sentiment to the stars. Attach the completed design panel to a white A6 card.

Step 12: Add an interior sentiment, if desired and mail this sparkly card ASAP to a friend or family member, it will make their day!
