I cannot contain my excitement over Dyan’s release of the new Dylusions Large Black Dot Grid Journal! Oh, the fun we will all have with this one! Let’s Go!!!
Step 1: Turn to a page in the Dylusions Black Dot Grid Journal. You will be using the dress form from Ladies Who Lunch Stencil. Place it on the lower left side of the page and apply Rose Quartz Shimmer Paint. Then apply some Peony Blush Shimmer Paint along the bottom of the dress.
Step 2: Next, stamp the dress from Ladies Who Lunch Stamp Set within the stencil silhouette using Jet Black Archival Ink.
Step 3: Trace a border around your page using the Dylusions Journaling Block and the Dylusions White Linen Paint Pen.
Step 4: Use the mask of the dress form from Ladies Who Lunch Stencil to cover the dress you have stenciled and stamped. Next, stencil the Down the Rabbit Hole Stencil on top using White Linen Paint. This will create some journaling lines.
Step 5: Paint the border using the Laidback Lilac Dylusions Shimmer Paint. Then using the mask of the purses from the Ladies Who Lunch Stencil, play with the placement of the purses.
Step 6: Once you have figured out the placement, take the Boulders Stencil to paint some circles in those spots with the Peony Blush Shimmer Paint.
Step 7: In these circles, you will then stencil in the purses with Blue Lagoon Shimmer Paint.
Step 8: Once all the paint has dried, using the stamp set Ladies Who Lunch, stamp the coordinating purse within its stenciled silhouette. You can also doodle around the border and circles with the Dylusions White Linen & Black Marble Paint Pens.
Step 9: Along the very outside of the lilac border, trace the dashed line part of the Stitch It Stencil with the Black Marble Dylusions Paint Pen.
Step 10: All that’s left to do is add your quote, and you are done! Your shimmery fashionista page is complete!
