A double journal page using the wonderful couture stamps combined with a few of the latest stamp releases.

Step 1: Use any large Dylusions journal and pick out about 5 paints. Use 4 warms and 1 cool or 4 cools and 1 warm. Use a seperate mini blending tool for each of the colours.

Step 2: Add the Dylusions paints in blocks on both pages. Make different sizes like squares and rectangles. Add a 2nd layer of paint to get a full coverage.

Step 3: Pick a few stencils and add the stencil on the blocks using a shimmer paint this time.

Step 4: Let the paints dry thoroughly before starting with this step. Use the stitch in time stencil and a posca black marker and add a cute little border between 2 adjacent blocks. Colour all the border shapes black.

Step 5: Take out your stamps. Use the couture stamps in combination with some of the heads from the last few releases. For the small couture bodies, the dinky doll heads are absolutely perfect.

Step 6: For colouring you can use the spray inks or the crayons. Pick out the same colours and for some variety, add a few opposites. The pinks and yellowish orange in the background are fabulous in combination with the green and blues. This will make the images on your page pop out a little more.

Step 7: Doodle the stencil shapes in the background. Go for a loose effect instead of going for perfect tracing.

Step 8: Add extra doodles on the borders. Pick a colour from the colours near to the border. Use white if you want the border to stand out a bit more.

Step 9: All this page needs is a quote and who doesn’t love the snarky quotes on the the bigger backchat stickers. They all are hilarious and suit all your pages and projects, just pick one. And viva la vie, your page is ready.
